It has been heard for a long time that classical music is the ideal one to relax children and help them rest better, this because it handles a rhythm of 60 units of time per minute that goes according to the heartbeat, being effective for rest and also to perform tasks that have to do with concentration and creativity.

Here there are waves that are directly related to the brain, such as alpha waves that are produced when babies are in a calm state, or theta waves that are activated during sleep or in moments of creativity.

One of the benefits of music in the brain is that through it the release of dopamine is produced, which stimulates the subcortical circuit of the limbic system and which helps good behavior, cognition, learning and enhances cognitive functions.

This means that, by using classical music in children to sleep, it is intervening as a stimulating method for integral development, benefiting them in their learning and concentration.

Music is a tool that allows them to have an emotional balance, giving them greater tranquility.

For this process, some authors can be recommended who, according to experts, their compositions bring greater benefits in babies. These are; Beethoven, Vivaldi and Mozart.

Ways to use classical music in children:

-Use music as a stimulating tool for rest and relaxation, preparing the atmosphere of the room so that children can identify that it is time to sleep.

-Playing classical music accompanied by lights and a massage before going to sleep, will help you relax and fall asleep more easily.

-Music can be placed before they go to bed as an announcement that it is time to go to sleep, these actions repetitively and based on specific hours, will create a sleep habit in the little ones, so that when they grow up, they will not have the need to call them to bed at all hours, but just by playing classical music, babies know that it is time to rest.

Benefits of classical music for sleep:
-Classical music is a conciliatory and physical regulating factor that improves oxygenation of the blood.

-It manages to reduce the heart rate by relaxing them, making them put aside what is happening around them, focusing only on what they are listening to until they fall asleep.

-It promotes tranquility and favors rest in children, in addition to reducing the level of anxiety or stress they had during the day.
